Condensed Milk Dairy Free

For many of my clients using Brand named condensed milk in their dessert recipes, I was on a mission to create an easy substitute.

There are several ways, but this was the easiest 2 ingredient recipe. It contains no dairy, and less sugar than the canned versions that use sugar.

It tastes like a smooth, buttery caramel.

What’s the difference from condensed milk and evaporated milk:

The biggest difference is the sugar content. Both are made by reducing a little of the water content from the milk. The condensed version has added sugar.
